Jeff Merritt has 26 years of corporate restructuring, operational improvement and interim management experience. He has been responsible for the operational improvement and corporate re- structuring of over 100 companies. He has broad experience in manufacturing, distribution, oil and gas, construction and business services industries. He is skilled in strategic planning and management, creditor negotiations, business divestitures, valuations and financial and corporate restructuring. Mr. Merritt has served as interim CEO, CFO, CRO and financial advisor to boards of directors, private equity groups, owners and lenders of companies in transition, as well as, both financial and operational turnarounds. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the financial marketplace and has structured and negotiated debt and equity financing with banks, asset-based lenders and private equity groups. He has also acted as CRO and financial advisor in bankruptcy cases to manage companies through the process and ad- vise both debtors and creditors on operational and financial matters.
With thirty three years experience in corporate management and consulting, Jeff Merritt held previous financial executive positions in a privately held manufacturer with 16 plants and a venture capital firm prior to forming his own consulting practice in 1992.
Jeff Merritt has a bachelor's degree in finance and has served on the Dallas Turnaround Management Association's Board of Directors for over ten years and was the president for 2006. He is currently on the Board of the Finance Forum.
